How to install the theme?


There are two methods to install theme. You may either upload the zipped theme file using the WordPress theme installer (Recommended), or you can upload the unzipped theme folder via FTP (Advanced).

Method 2: Install Using File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

  1. Unzip “educationweb.zip” file on your computer.
  2. Login using FTP client to access your host web server.
  3. Locate the wp-content folder in your WordPress install files.
  4. Upload the un-zipped Education Web folder into the: wp-content/themes folder.

Activate the Theme

  1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Appearance > Themes in the WordPress menu
  3. Hover over the theme thumbnail and click the Activate button.

Plugin Installation


To install a plugin in your WordPress admin panel and follow the following steps.

Plugin Installing Method

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Click Navigate to Plugins > Add New in the WordPress Dashboard.
  3. Search for the name of the plugin you wish to install which will return a list of potential plugins.
  4. Click Details to read more about a plugin.
  5. Click “Install Now” if you wish to install the plugin.
  6. It may ask if you are sure, and you may proceed. The installation will commence once you confirm to proceed.
  7. After the plugin is downloaded. Go to Plugins>Installed Plugins. Click “Activate Plugin” to make it available for use.

Manage HomePage/FrontPage


Configuring the front Page display setting

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > Homepage Settings
  4. Homepage Settings >> Choose "A static page" you have get two different options( Homepage, Posts page), select Homepage Options any one page which page you display fornt page. Then Below is checked "Use Education Web Style frontpage?" Checked that options.

General Setting


Logo/Site Title/Favicon (To set up Site Identity)

  1. Go to Appearance> Customize > General Settings > Site Identity
  2. Click Select logo by clicking Select Logo.
  3. Upload and select the desired image.
  4. Enter the Site Title and Tagline
  5. Check Display Header Text for the Site title and Tagline to appear on your homepage.
  6. Click Select Image under Site Icon
  7. Upload and select the desired image. (The Site Icon/ favicon is used as a browser and app icon for your site. The recommended Site Icon size is 512*512 pixels.)
  8. Click Save & Publish.

Background Image


  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > General Settings > Background Image
  2. Click Select Image.
  3. Upload and Select a Background Image & Manage the image position & other settings
  4. Click Save & Publish.

Theme Colors


  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > General Settings > Colour Setting
  2. Change the Header Text Colour & Background Color by clicking on the respective Select Color button
  3. Click Save & Publish.

Web Layout Options


  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > General Settings
  2. Open General Settings > WebLayout Options
  3. Select the WebSite Layout Options (Boxed Layout, FullWidth Layout) per as you want
  4. Click Save & Publish.

Top Header Setting


Configer Top Header General Settings

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > Top Header Settings > Top Header General Settings
  4. Top Header General Settings > Quick Contact Information(to add/change e-mail, phone no., add & opening time)
  5. Go Back to Top Header General Setting > Social Media Link Options(to add/change social media links)
  6. Click & Publish

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > Main Header Settings
  4. Main Header Settings > Manage all the options per as you want.
  5. Click Save & Publish.

Main Banner Slider Setting

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize

  4. Main Header Settings > Enable or Disable the option as per you want.
  5. Add pages if requied.
  6. Click Save & Publish.

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > HomePage Section Area > Section Re order
  4. You can reorder various section(features services, courses area, skill section, extra services area, why choose section, academics section, gallery section, counter section, FAQ section, our team member, our client/brand, testimonial area and our blog) as you like.
  5. Click Save > Publish.

Features Services Setting

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > HomePage Section Area
  4. HomePage Section Area > Features Services Settings
  5. Features Services Setting > Enable or Disable this option as per your need.
  6. Add pages if required.
  7. Click Save & Publish.

Skill Section Settings

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > HomePage Section Area
  4. HomePage Section Area > Skill Section Settings
  5. Skill Section Setting > Enable or Disable this option as per your need.
  6. Manage all the options as per your need.
  7. Click Save & Publish.

Academic Section Setting

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.

  5. Counter Section Setting > Enable or Disable this option.
  6. Add or remove different field of counter as required.
  7. Click Save & Publish.

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize

  4. HomePage Section Area > FAQ Section Setting
  5. Our Testimonial Setting > Enable or Disable this option.
  6. Add or remove different FAQs as required.
  7. Click Save & Publish.
 

Our Blog Setting

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > HomePage Section Area
  4. HomePage Section Area > Our Blog Setting
  5. Our Blog Setting > Enable or Disable this option.
  6. You can add, remove & edit blogs as required.
  7. Click Save & Publish.
 

Our Client/Brand Logo Setting

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > HomePage Section Area
  4. HomePage Section Area > Our Client/Brand Logo Setting
  5. Our Client/Brand Logo  Setting > Enable or Disable this option.
  6. You can add, remove & edit clients as required.
  7. Click Save & Publish.

Footer Call To Action

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > HomePage Section Area
  4. HomePage Section Area > Footer Call To Action
  5. Footer Call To Action > Enable or Disable this option.
  6. Manage all the options as per you want.
  7. Click Save & Publish.

Inner Page Background Image Setting


  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > Inner Page Background Images
  4. Inner Page Background Images > Add or Remove images as per your need.
  5. Click Save & Publish.
